Can we watch 3D movies on television?

Hi,Is there a thing like 3D broadcast or DVD/VCD. How much time will it be possible to view 3D movies/matches at home. Thanks,Ajay

If you can find one that uses red/blue or red/cyan then you should be able to watch it on a standard TV with red/blue or red/cyan glasses on.
A system that blinked the images might be able to work with a TV but the flicker would probably hurt your eyes (it’s a common method of 3D for computers with high refresh rates).
Polarised systems will not work on TVs (those are for movies).
Having two screens right in front of your eyes would also give 3D but then you wouldn’t be watching it on your television.
Of course there is also the problem of there being to first approximation zero 3D movies in the shops (there might be a few red/blue ones out there but not many).
