Is it possible to reproduce Escher’s Impossible Architectures using CGI or 3D modelling softwares?

by 3D G33K

Is it really possible to create the “Impossible” figures created by M. C. Escher in digital form using any “3D/2D Graphics or Modelling Softwares” like Rhinoceros 3d? As I find it very difficult to reproduce the illusions created by Escher in his prints because computergraphics tools I use (Rhino3d) always have been unable to iterpret the data for these figures?Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Go rent The Labyrinth. In that movie, they tried to recreate in 3 dimensions MC Escher’s drawing of the room with all the staircases. It’s not digital, but it’s a start, and it might give you some idea of whether or not it’s possible.
