Is it possible to watch 3D movies without glasses?
by 3D G33K
I just read that Panasonic is leading the race in developing 3D-TV’s. This sounds pretty neat. I’m not sure if this means that you’ll have to wear the little glasses or not though. I guess what I’m asking is that is that will it ever be possible to watch 3D movies and television with just your eyes and no glasses at all? I think that’d be pretty sweet.

no you’ll need some kind of glasses. without them it’ll be just blurry and the color will look really off.

Yes, I read about phillips coming out with a 3d television that does not require glasses about a year ago. They do it with little mirrors in each pixel of the television so each eye gets the different image. They only have them on display in a few places right now like major cities like chicago and paris the last time I checked, but do plan to make them avalible to comsumers in the future. The technology is called wowvx. Here is a link with just a little about it, google phillips wowvx for more info. http://www.i4u.com/article23330.html
