This is a tutorial my son did last year when he was 7 years old. He wanted to have a go at doing a tutorial after seeing me do a few. He loves to make things and loves using Maya. Heh. Thinking back, I think I was sharpest at computers back when I was 10. Now I’m in my late 30s and it seems harder to learn complex software these days :]
Great tutorial. You included all steps and keyboard shortcuts. If only more industry pros would do tutorials like this. Thanks for teaching me.

Well my son is 10 now and he loves using pencil and paper. He is at the stage where he want to do everything but doesn’t have the time. A few weeks back he said he now understands the term “no enough hours in the day”

yeah I did a 3 yr animation degree and the kids used to come in with me all the time, was very funny watching 2 little ones “playing” with maya, happy to say my daughter much prefers good old fashioned pencils and lightboxes – must be a boy thing ha ha
