Watching HD 3D television on a normal TV?

Hi, I’ve read that a lot of new 3D HDTVs came out, but I don’t want to buy a new 3D HDTV because my TV can already play 1080p HD and I have a PS3 that is Blu Ray and 3D compatible (I think). My question is, do I NEED to buy the new 3D HDTVs or will it work on my TV with just 3D glasses that I buy at a store and some 3D Blu Ray movies?Thanks!P. S My TV isn’t that told, maybe like 3 years. I have the 120 GB PS3and I have Comcast. I think Comcast has some 3D movies On Demand.
