Can you watch 3d movies at home?

I know this looks like a dumb question but can you watch 3d movies like avatar at home? If so what do you need and where can you get it?

    They have to be encrypted. And you need the glasses also.

    Yes, but the movie you watch must be specifically designed to be watched that way and you have to have the “3D” glasses. 3D at home is not nearly as good as 3D at the theater though.

    Theyre actually selling TVs that are 3d! But I also heard that the first world cu game of 2010 is going to be 3d so I guess that you just need to get the glasses

    Yes they are coming out with 3d televisions next month form some television makers, others will release their’s later this year. You will need a 3d television, and 3d blu-ray player, and a blu-ray 3d disk in field sequential and the shutter glasses. They won’t use the polarized glasses like in the theater buy shutter glasses 3d looks the same. Some Imax theaters use shutter glasses for their 3d movies.
