Do 3D movies look different if you are not using the glasses?

by 3D G33K

My husband is blind in one eye so the glasses do not work for him. Is the movie going to look funny or different than a normal movie if you don’t where the glasses?

Yeah it’s gonna look fuzzy and give him a headache, you should have him see a non 3D version.

Yes. Have you ever removed your 3D glasses? I’m pretty sure you’ll see some outlines on objects that you wouldn’t see if you just went to see the regular version of the movie.

I went and saw Avatar in 3d. From time to time, I took the glasses off to see what it looked like. Sometimes it was blurry, sometimes it was ok. I guess it all depends on the different features that are shown in the film.

Well It Depends On The Cinema in some Cinemas you can take off your 3D glasses and still watch it in 2D but usually it is kind of blurry/fuzzy once you have taken off your glasses. Hope this helps x

the only difference is that it looks a little blurry. I saw avatar in 3d and i was wondering the same thing so i took the glasses off for a minute

He’ll have to wear the glasses. It will look like a 2d movie but won’t be blurry for him if he wears them.

It will look blurry, distinct double-vision, to you, with two eyes, without the glasses. But it will look fine to him wearing the glasses with only one eye, like a normal movie, though he won’t see the 3d effect…obviously. Keep your glasses on, put a hand over one eye, as I tried while watching Avatar, and it looks like a normal movie.
