Looking for a freeware 3D modelling software package.?

I need something with an interface similar to that of 3D Studio 4 or Max. I have a Radeon card so Blender doesn’t work too well.

There is actually a free 3d program you can download at http://www.anim8or.com it is very similer and also has free tuterials on how to use it for both 3d modeling and animations…hope this helps.

I heard that Blender 3D is a free decent 3D app, but I don’t know whether its interface is similar to 3DSmax. Visit the its homepage to see it for yourself.

Wings 3D is a free 3d modeler. but no animation/rigging features.
