I found out that 3D televisions are coming this year. Me and my entire family is excited. But someone asked me exactly when. Can someone tell me the exact date when 3D televisions come out?

they have already came out, they’re just uber expensive and not carried in retail stores. A cheaper and more readily availible option is to purchase a dlp t.v. the has a port to plug in a 3D glasses omitter.

and u dont need that really expensive t.v. that that dude below pointed out, i have a 60″ Mitsubishi dlp tv and it has the port for the 3d glasses omitter we just didnt buy it

I have not heard an exact date, just that they will be coming out this fall. A Christmas Carol will come out in 3d on blu-ray this fall as well. Not anaglyph but stereoscopic 3d.

Something like May 2009. There has already been a 3d tv out. That’s why Avatar the video game can be played in 3d. Mitsubishi L65A90 is one of the TVs off the top of my head thats been out and is 3d capable. In terms of other manufactures I heard as early as summer of 2010.

3D television manufacturers are diligently working to bring 3D television to consumer’s homes in 2010. Sony and Panasonic have both committed to releasing 3D television systems in 2010 while Mitsubishi and JVC are also in the process of developing 3D television products.
