Why 3d movies do not work on my pc with the 3d glasses that I took in a movie theater?

Any movie that I tried looks almost exactly the same as without the glasses even though the 3d movie that I watched in the movie theater worked with them.

you need the red and blue cardboard 3d glasses cuz the ones from the theater are meant for REAL D not 3d

Its because they weren’t recorded with a proper 3d camera.

I think your 3d movies are not compatible with PC movie player. try to use other movie player like VLC, FLV, windows mediaplayer

The movie theater uses polarization in their glasses to create the 3d effect, which must be transformed into the red/blue format to work on normal televisions as well as computer screens. Go to blockbuster, ask for a pair of their 3d glasses (trust me, they have some) and you should be fine. Oh, and take the glasses back to the theater, they’re expensive…
