Can 3D Movies be seen without glasses?

by 3D G33K

Right now people see movies in 3D with glasses, but is there a possibility of making a camera with two lenses that have 3D view and record make movies then watch it without glasses?

there actually are some tvs right now that do that(pretty much still in devlopment, but you can see them around) but they arent as good as what youd get with the glasses

It takes lot of skills to do it, i would train myself yo be able to read magic eyes book in short time but it will definitely strain your eyes when you try watch them in motion. you are better off using 3D glasses to watch 3D movies.

Actually 3d without glasses has been around for quite a few years. There are autostereoscopic televisions where half the pixels angle slightly to the left and the other half slightly to the right. So that when you are a certain distance from the screen, usually about 10 feet, the pixels only go into one eye, giving 3d without glasses.

In the 1950′s I think, there was some experiments done where they project a movie on a screen from behind and then the screen does the same thing as above angling tiny sections of the screen left or right, then those sitting in certain spots could see in 3d

Problem with these 3d screens is only a certain number of people can watch the 3d movie at one time, because you have to be in that spot where the images go right into the eye itself.
