Do you Y|A users feel that Hollywood sometimes insults our intelligence, as movie watchers, with 3D movies?

by 3D G33K

With every other movie coming out in 3D I feel like it gives movie makers a pretext for making movies that are totally bankrupt for original story writing, depth and dialogue. Not to mention, are we expected to pay more money to watch more and more movies in 3D? or is the price of tickets going down now that these kinds of movies are everywhere?

3D would only support original story writing, depth and dialogue. Without it, if people wanted a real “3D” experience, they would just go to Disneyland.

Bottom line Hollywood wants money and lots of it.So they put out movies with lots of special effects to appeal to the masses. There will always be people like myself that stay clear of such films and lean toward thought provoking films.

Actually 3d movies are doing well because they do have good story lines. You just don’t like 3d so you are trying to make it as if 3d zaps that story line. People who don’t like 3d over exaggerate to make their argument sound like it has more weight to it. Up got very good reviews for its story line, so did Coraline. Avatar was well received as well. Again 3d does not take away from the story line. Movies come out all the time that don’t have good story lines that are not in 3d.

Your just mad because you wanted 3d to fail because you don’t like it, which is human, but instead people are buying 2 3d tickets to every 1 2d ticket sold. That is how it has been for 5 years now since Polar Express in 2004. Sorry but to many people like 3d, just how life is.
