    im in 3dsmax, how do i make sure the reference image is displayed even in wireframe mode?

    @LeahPomme Select the plane, press E to access the rotate tool.

    this is gonna sound really nooby but.. How did u get your plane to work like that? xD
    I mean.. mines stuck to the ground and flat as paper x_X

    What a fast and clean way of modeling! Kudos. I especially like the fact that you follow the shape of the muscle of the neck. A lot o students don’t think about that and just extrude out the bottom faces down to create the neck. Cheers.

    hey, i really like this tutorial. good job! but i’m using maya 6.0 and i don’t know what to do when you use that zipper looking tool (next to the extrude face tool). help please!

    Thanks for this, its just too marvelous…Can u help with a problem. I think i mistakenly locked my character movement control, so whenever i click on the control, it all goes ashe and unmoveable, please reply me if you have any idea on how to unlock it so its all moveable..Cheers!

    @nave4pres2 I’ll try. Ok for blender, it is simply in view> Background image

    For maya and 3ds: Make a plane, and put your image on it some how (sorry i use blender)

    you should get it in a day or 2, good luck.

    @dominostandard From what I know, pixar has sculptors make the character out of clay and then a digital modeler uses that as reference.
