-Maya
Both are now made by discreet. Both can be used to model, animate, texture and render animations, and you can switch between the two programs if you save your file as an obj. Both programs have their ups and downs, and it all depends on what you’re planning on doing as to which is the best to use, but those are the two main ones- either way.
