Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) December 23, 2011

Mitsubishi Electric’s new 3D projector, the HC7800D, is now available and priced at $ 2999 with a free pair of proprietary active-shutter 3D glasses, just in time for the year-end holiday gift giving season. The free glasses promotion, valued at $ 199, will continue until the end of 2011.

“Mitsubishi is known for pushing the visual technology envelope, especially when creating the biggest, boldest 3D images, and the HC7800D projector has generated a lot of excitement in the home theater market since it was announced last September at the CEDIA industry trade show,” said Wayne Kozuki, product manager, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “The HC7800D shows some of the best 3D images ever from a front projector. It’s a hot model with our advanced proprietary technology added to our full line of 3D large screen displays.”

Mitsubishi Electric’s new mid-range HC7800D projector uses Texas Instruments’ latest DLP® .065-inch DMD chip to create exciting, vibrant 3D images in full high-definition, 1080P resolution. Its ultra-hushed fan creates 23 dBa of noise in low mode, so viewers can hear the sounds of quiet dialogue or music during your movie or television show, not an annoying fan hum.

The HC7800D projector shows impressive native 3D images with virtually no crosstalk when the high-performance proprietary active-shutter glasses are used by the viewer. The projector also boasts one of the industry’s best 2D-to-3D conversion technologies, using Mitsubishi’s own algorithms in calculating and interpolating multiple depth levels in a 2D image. This transforms traditional 2D films like Gone with the Wind or Ben Hur into a seamless 3D experience with near-perfect 3D simulation that literally makes content jump off the screen.

The projector’s frame rate conversion technology also produces high-speed frame reproduction for showing fine, smooth details and reducing any motion blur, especially in fast action scenes.

With a long lamp life of up to 5000* hours in low mode, the lamp of the HC7800D projector provides years of typical use before a lamp change is required. Mitsubishi’s one-year limited warranty on the lamp is also one of the best in the industry.

Mitsubishi Electric’s new HC7800D home theater projector blasts an impressive 1500 lumens to create high-brightness and a rich 100,000:1 contrast ratio. It produces images that are smooth, dazzling and true to the original 2D and 3D content.

The latest HDMI™-version 1.4 inputs support 3D signals, and provide easy set-up options for multiple video inputs. The projector’s RS232 support offers plug-and-play connectivity with third-party remote operations for easy installation and control.

“Mitsubishi is a leading provider of 3D home theater display products and the HC7800D projector elevates 3D to a new level,” said James Chan, vice president, marketing, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “We continue to bring the best in front and rear projection using display technology with a broad range of products to our home theater channel partners and end users.”

Additional Mitsubishi proprietary 3D glasses cost $ 199 per pair. The HC7800D projector ships with a 3D emitter and comes with Mitsubishi’s two-year limited warranty on parts and labor.

(PRWEB) December 08, 2011

Announcing http://www.TheAlignmentBlog.com, featuring the real world shaft alignment experiences of VibrAlign’s expert trainers and engineers.

VibrAlign is committed to helping businesses use their resources more efficiently and effectively by specializing in everything for shaft alignment – alignment equipment, alignment application knowledge, alignment repair and calibration services, and alignment training. For this reason the company’s training team, four experts with more than 60 years of alignment experience, have launched a new blog chronicling in detail alignment issues encountered in the field, and how these issues were solved.

VibrAlign trainers strive to constantly update their expert knowledge and to incorporate real world situations into training sessions. VibrAlign training goes beyond the typical teaching format, walking individuals through a hands-on process and allowing them to put the procedures into practice immediately after they are introduced for a better understanding and a more energized experience.

“When we train on site, the first day is spent in the classroom. On day two we go out into the plant and apply what was learned, allowing the customer to pick the equipment to be aligned. I can tell you, they usually pick their ‘problem child’ that they’ve had ongoing trouble sometimes for years. We love seeing their response when they apply what they learned and achieve a precise alignment, sometimes in just a single move”, says Stan Riddle, VibrAlign Trainer.

VibrAlign invented its own method of correcting misalignment – Verti-Zontal® – which allows for the correct vertical and horizontal adjustments to be made together, saving valuable time and ensuring accuracy the first time around. A portion of each training class is spent on teaching this more efficient and effective way to complete precision alignments. The result is that VibrAlign customers have a clear path to realizing ROI from their investment in alignment.

About VibrAlign

VibrAlign started in 1983 as a vibration and alignment service organization and later became a distributor of equipment which, appropriately, equipped our team to better serve. VibrAlign is America’s exclusive distributor of Fixturlaser® – the manufacturer of the only touch screen tool available with 3D animation and sensor safeguard against sunlight. For thirty years now, VibrAlign has been growing across the country. Today we proudly operate out of local offices in every major region.

3D Graphics creations are often perceived as requiring costly software. Well, this is not always the case because the internet is really a place loaded with free goodies waiting to be utilized. With the relevant skill, a designer or artist can produce works (using these free tools) that are comparable to what professional tools can do.

I will show you how to start a professional 3D graphic design studio using only free software. To produce credible 3D graphics, the tools must be able to perform the various functions namely:

1. Modelling 2. Rendering 3. Animation 4. Image editing 5. Texture creation

Well, we need to substitute commercial tools with their free and or open source equivalents.

The following is a reference to the various free 3D and graphics related resources that can be downloaded from the net.

For 3D modelling, rendering and animation there are at least 2 excellent free alternatives. They are Blender 3D and Truespace 3.2. You can get Blender 3D from http://www.blender3d.com. Truespace 3.2 can be downloaded from http://www.caligari.com which is the homepage of Truespace’s maker.

For purely dedicated 3D modeling, Wing3D is an easy to use yet very powerful tool. You can get this 3D modeling software from http://www.wings3d.com. What you need to do, is to model your stuffs on this software and then export then to either Blender3D or Truespace. File formats such as 3D Studio (3DS), Wavefront (OBJ) and VRML (WRL) are all supported by Wings3D and can be used for exporting 3D models (created in Wings3D) to other 3D programs such as Blender3D and Truespace.

For image editing and texture creation, Gimp is a most excellent tool. This is a very powerful image editing tool. It supports layers like most professional image editors. Its many filters are excellent for creating textures and image maps for 3D models. Gimp can be downloaded from http://www.gimp.org.

Less well-known than Gimp but very delightful to use is Pixia. This is a Japanese software. Fortunately there is an English version. This tool is excellent for painting and is thus useful for creating image maps for 3D models. Pixia can be downloaded from http://park18.wakwak.com/~pixia/.

Well, these are the free equivalents that can perform the work of commercial tools. Commercial software may be more convenient and easier to use, nevertheless these free tools can get the job done too. So, if you are on a tight budget, this may be the route to go.

Do you have a 3D TV, or do you have any plans to buy a 3D TV? If so, it might a fabulous idea to buy glasses-free 3D TV. Glasses-Free 3D TV is a 3D TV that allows you to enjoy true 3D motions and videos without wearing 3D Glasses.

A week before, Toshiba demoed its brand new glasses-free 3D TV called 55-inch ZL2 at IFA. It means another breakthrough in glasses-free 3D technology. This ZL2 3D TV allows you to display 3D Content and enjoy true 3D experience without wearing 3D glasses. This is really a nice news for many people who want to enjoy 3D movie and video on 3D TV. Toshiba ZL2 3D TV has four times resolution as the current HD 3DTV at 3840×2160 pixels. It’s nearly 8.3million pixels. The picture shall be super. With true 3D displaying methods, you can easily get approach to the 3D movie and videos just on this 3D TV. Another shining point shall be the Face-Tracking camera system. With this face-tracking camera, the TV can display the 3D motion and pictures variously according to the position of the viewer. In this way, the 3D effect shall have its best performance. You just feel as if you are in the scene of the video. The 3D Video display shall change when you change your positions in front of the 3D TV. However, some people say it sounds tricky. What if you have multiple viewers stay in the different positions to watch the same 3D TV? But Toshiba claimed that this 3D TV allows up to 9 people to watch 3D without glasses. The technical principle for the reproduction of 3D in the set is called the stereoscopic method. In that one picture is produced for the right eye and simultaneously another picture is produced for the left eye which has a small offset. With 8.3 million pixels evenly target either left or right eye separately, there’s no 3D glasses needed. No matter what, the 55-inch large screen shall be super for home theatre plus to the glasses-free 3D function. Of course, this glasses-free 3D TV shall cost you more money. But it will surely deserve to own.The TV has a built-in Freeview HD, Toshiba’s Cevo engine support for USB hard drive video recording as well as Wi-Fi support. For those who are using an iPhone there would be a remote control app also provided along with the set. Tohsiba has said the ZL2 will be available in the fourth quarter of the year. According to said, the price shall be around 8000 Euros. With the development of 3D playing devices, people may seek different ways to find 3D videos and get 3D video resources. Here comes DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter.
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 22, 2011

Next time you enter El Super (http://www.ElSuperMarkets.com) to do your grocery shopping, you might see a Coca-Cola bottle floating towards you. Beginning on September 21st, 2011 shoppers at one of the nation’s leading and fastest growing independent Hispanic grocery store chains, owned by Bodega Latina Corporation, will experience 3D advertising at its best. The Coca-Cola Hispanic 3D Ad Network is the world’s first “glasses free” 3D digital out of home signage network purely targeting Hispanics. People will see ads floating as far as 2 feet away from the screen allowing consumers to have a much closer experience with various products.

The Coca-Cola Hispanic 3D Ad Network came to life with two 46 Inch flat panel “Glasses Free” 3D displays in all 36 El Super locations in California, Nevada and Arizona. As the title sponsor, Coca-Cola will feature 3D ads for several of its brands. Kraft Foods and Nestle are a few of the other advertisers already committed to a 3D ad campaign on the network beginning from the launch.

9D Media (http://www.9DMedia.TV), owners of the Hispanic 3D Ad Network, has signed contracts to place these screens in numerous other Hispanic store chains beginning in January 2012. “We will have the only national network of “Glasses Free” 3D screens purely directed at the Hispanic consumer.” comments Mike Bremner, President of 9D Media.

“Unlike an older technology of “Glasses Free” 3D screens that require the viewer to stand directly in front of the screen to see the 3D illusion, or see absolutely nothing at all, these are big bright beautiful 46 inch flat screen displays that allow the viewer to see the 3D illusion from a full range of view, left to right, in front of the screen” Bremner continues. “Better yet, we’re a media company with a highly skilled animation department NOT a technology company. That means we can produce content for any of the “Glasses Free” 3D screens available on the market today, leaving us the ability to choose the best supplier of 3D screens for our network as the technology continues to improve, and it will !” laughs Bremner.
