I am hopefully going to be studying 3D animation at univeristy soon and will be using 3D programs such as Maya and 3DS Max which is what I hear modern architects use, and i also love to do draft work for building i model on the program..

So I was wondering if a BA Hons in 3d animation could ever get me into an architecture job? :)

Why don’t you just study architecture? It makes more sense to take a direct route to where you want to go than to take a side route and hope that it will somehow get you where you want to be.

This sounds pretty neat. I’m not sure if this means that you’ll have to wear the little glasses or not though. I guess what I’m asking is that is that will it ever be possible to watch 3D movies and television with just your eyes and no glasses at all? I think that’d be pretty sweet.

We need dimensions stated explicitly, because it’ll be almost impossible to measure the surface curvatures from 2D drawings. Even slight errors in measured values would result in the different parts not fitting with each other in the final model.
