I’m wondering what is the most affordable or if it’s even possible to have models I’ve made in my 3D program, sent on a dvd or over the net to a company and have them make it for me, I know it would be costly but I would think smaller creative things like rings and jewelry could be mass produced, maybe start my own online store..

3D Models are pretty tough and it takes commercial software. If you know the molecule, Chemfinder has 3D models for most of the common molecules.

sorry my friend i would love software like that myself because i work with 3d myself, u could try using some form of maxscript for 3dsm or mal script for maya, if u find anything let me know

I would wait for the ‘Glasses-free’ 3D TV…. Currently, the 3D options are passive or expensive active glasses, (that need a power source.) 3D TV is minimal in useage, other than DVD, and is hard on the eyes and headaches for many… Just my opinion. I would not buy now.

Hmm.. Personally I’m more for taking classes…I’m sure you could find a private teacher…but ideally screwing around with design software and asking questions online is always a fun way to learn.
