World Editor preview and project setup tutorial. jBrush is a Java application I developed as a student project. It’s a visual toolset for JPCT, a freely available Java-based game engine, particularly great for developing web applets and Android games. jBrush allows you to import 3DS, OBJ and MD2 models, visually manipulate them and transform them in the scene, assign their properties. You can also add lights and animate meshes via JPCT’s keyframe animation facilities. You can playback the animation in the editor, set a speed and all its properties. jBrush comes with Jar libraries that allow you to import the scene created with only a couple of lines of code, play the animations created and to retrieve any of the objects as Object3Ds for further in game manipulation of the game elements. You can download the application from my blog: jbrusheditor.tumblr.com Or from the JPCT website’s download section: www.jpct.net

Castlerama 1.1 is available – Fixed stability on less powerful devices – Improved performance.Castlerama is a free application for iOS devices developed by CODENRAMA and powered by Unreal Engine. While developing Castlerama, we had to face the fact that newer devices such as iPhone4s and iPad2s are very different from their predecessors, iPhone3GSs and iPads, in that the former have twice as much memory. In order to have the app run on all devices, we had to compromise quite a bit, pushing the old devices to their limits (risking crash if other applications are left running) while keeping the new devices well behind their capabilities. In the future we believe we will have to develop two versions for each application. We currently have a couple of projects in our pipeline, and we are very likely to release a game, or a series of virtual tours, or both. Unreal, the engine by Epic, is very smooth, even though its development kit for mobile devices is very young, still in its beta, and not yet fully documented. We hope you will enjoy this demo and we remind you to please check our support page if you encounter any problem. Developed by CODENRAMA – Music: Kevin MacLeod

I will be doing more 3D characters like this at some point. I also had a request to do an easy fairy look, and I know this probably doesn’t work too well for that but I don’t see how a fairy can become easy :/ Hope you’ll enjoy the tutorial Music provided by: Jason Shaw @ audionautix.com

Come visit us at: www.burgzergarcade.com Wecontinue with another tutorial in our Hack And Slash demo made with the Unity3d Game Engine. In this video, I wanted to go over how I like to set up my models if I am going to have interchangeable parts. The main take away from this tutorial is the use of of my mount points. I add these anywhere that I want to have customizable parts. So if my 3d character is going to have different hair styles, the I make sure to have one for the head. The concept is easy, and keeping it in mind while creating your models, should lead to more productive game creation time. Enjoy, and do not forget to subscribe, and favorite. Community donated assets can be found here www.burgzergarcade.com Save time typing out the scripts, or just buy me some coffee: www.burgzergarcade.com
For MegaUpload users, download the text files with the download links to all the files here; www.megaupload.com I’ve received quite a lot of requests for a tutorial for my papercrafts, so here it is, a basic papercrafting tutorial for those new to the art papercrafting. Papercraft models are usually modeled in a 3D modelling software such as Metasequoia, Blender or Google’s Sketchup, and then ‘unfolded’ with another software called Pepakura. The designs developed in Pepakura are referred to as Pepakura files, or PDOs. The free version of Pepakura is as good as the full version. Only downside to it is that you won’t be able to save your projects in the free version. I hope this video is helpful enough to you guys out there. Drop a comment in the comments section of this video and I’ll try helping you with it =) PLEASE RATE AND SUBSCRIBE! =) Thanks for your support, subbers!
